This book explores the mysteries of space and its ambiguity on a journey to nebulae, galaxies, black holes and the confines of the universe. The author does not stop much in the solar system, but only a few pages of images and brief descriptions of the sun, planets and moons, asteroids, comets and dwarf planets at the beginning of the book, from from this brief introduction, accelerating in the depths moving from the interstellar neighborhood to our galaxy, Milky Way and the ends of the universe. The trip includes brief chapters on the history of astronomy and the techniques it uses, including terrestrial and space telescopes.

The author of the book is Gopher Schilling, a world-renowned journalist and astronomer. He writes regularly for the New Scientist, Sky and Telescope and Sky At Night. The International Astronomical Union (IAF), named Gopher, launched # 10986 asteroid in 2007 in honor of it.
The translator Omar Said Al Ayoubi has been working in translation and publishing for over twenty-five years.
