The Jordanian monarch, Abdullah II, stressed that the challenges facing the Arab nation require unified cooperation and positions in the interest of the Arab countries and ensure security and stability in the region.

The Jordanian news agency reported that this occurred at a meeting between the Jordanian monarch and the Arab parliamentary leaders participating in the 29th session of the Arab Parliamentary Union, which is will be held in Amman, the Jordanian capital, under the slogan "Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine".

The Jordanian monarch emphasized the importance of the role played by the Arab Parliamentary Union in unifying Arab positions in the face of regional challenges, stressing the need for closer Arab co-operation in all areas.

He stressed the need to intensify efforts to find political solutions to the crises experienced by some Arab countries in the context of the internal Arab home.
