The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosts the "International Conference of Muslim Scholars on Peace and Stability in the Republic of Afghanistan" in Jeddah and Mecca on 26 and 27 Shawwal 1439H corresponding to the 10th and 11th July 2018, respectively. The conference, based on the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States, brought together scholarly religious leaders in Afghanistan and a select group of Muslim scholars from around the world to denounce the terrorism and violent extremism. In all its forms and manifestations, based on the teachings of the true Islamic religion.
