Today, Sharp unveils the latest Sharp design for a distinctive phone with a foldable design. The phone is comprised of 3D images that show Sharp's vision regarding folding phones.

Foldable smartphone

Folding phones are one of the main features of this year's smart phones. Many companies are now devoting themselves to the development of this category of phones.

The same goes for Sharp, who recently spotted plans to develop a vision for a retractable phone. Today, images are emerging that show this vision in the 3D design of the folding Sharp phone launched by LetsGoDigital.

Sharp filed its patent with the WIPO in 2017, with a phone structure and a phone folding mechanism, with long edges and a lower screen size, which folds vertically.

The phone design must support double pauses to fold in half or to allow the top to close, and to check messages and notifications without having to open the phone completely.

This is Sharp's first attempt in the design of foldable phones that took place in 2017. It should therefore reveal a new vision of the company for phones with a folding design for the coming period.
