Tunisia
Although the spread of the Coronavirus during the first 8 months of this year has remained very limited in Tunisia, the situation has deteriorated markedly in recent weeks.
About two weeks ago, the country recorded the highest number of infections since the Corona virus outbreak in early 2020. Official statistics show that infections doubled in the first week of October, about 10 times a year. compared to the first week of last September.
Over the past few days, Tunisia has recorded more than 1,000 cases per day, while the death rate has risen to over 40 cases per day.
According to the latest figures announced by the Tunisian Ministry of Health, the country recorded 2,125 new injuries on Sunday and Monday, bringing the total number of injured in the country to 54,278, while the total number of deaths reached 1,153.
Lebanon
Coronavirus infection rates in Lebanon remained under control until the beginning of last September, when they started to rise very dramatically as they exceeded the threshold of 1,000 infections per day and 15 deaths per day.
Yesterday, Lebanon recorded 1,809 new injuries, bringing the total number of injured in the country to 73,995, while the total number of deaths reached 590.
Jordan
The Corona virus has started to take a dangerous turn in Jordan in recent weeks, after the number of daily infections did not exceed an average of 10 infections over a period of more than 5 months, this rate has increased significantly recently.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 3,800 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 58,855, in addition to 44 new deaths, bringing the total number to 668.
United Arab Emirates
During the last months of August and September, the number of coronavirus infections in the UAE saw a marked decline, with the daily rate varying between 300 and 400, compared to more than 700 infections per day in the previous period, but those numbers have risen again over the past 15 days to over 1,000 infections per day.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates recorded 1,390 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 127,624, as well as two new deaths, bringing the total to 482.
Palestine
Coronavirus infection rates were very low in Palestine in the first 4 months of the outbreak, but have increased significantly since last July and are still relatively high so far compared to the first months.
Palestine yesterday recorded 576 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 63,164, in addition to 4 new deaths, bringing the total to 529.
