Italian magistrates revealed Friday that they had opened an investigation into the assassination of Moroccan model Iman Fadel, regular guest of the concerts of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in Bunga Bunga.
Eman died on March 1, a month after entering a hospital in Milan, as a result of severe stomach pain and reportedly poisoned, but her death was only announced Friday.
"The doctors did not specify the reason for death," said the attorney general in Milan, adding that there were "a lot of unusual things" in the medical records of the religion.
Iman testified in 2012 during the trial of Berlusconi, accused of having paid to have sex with a minor prostitute, but was acquitted after the judge ruled that he did not know that the prostitute was a minor.
