The Saudi university team won the beach soccer tournament organized by the International Federation of University Sports at the Olympic Village in Munich, Germany for five days from 9 to 13 July 2018 with the participation of 29 countries. The only Arab participant for the first time in the tournament.
His Excellency the Minister of Education and President of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa, expressed his great satisfaction for the excellence of the Saudi university team in Beach Ball Championship in Germany, adding that the participation of our sons and the Kingdom flag The student experience is a strategic goal that the state wishes to achieve in a manner consistent with the aspirations and achievements of the kingdom through the vision of the 2030 Kingdom.
The Minister of Education thanked the wise leaders for having approved the participation of Saudi Arabian Beach Soccer tournament in Germany.
His Excellency praised the efforts of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities and players of the Saudi university team to participate actively in this championship, wishing the success of students and highlighting the need to practice sports through the facilities sports offered by the state.
