At the GDC 2019 Game Developer Conference, Intel announced the launch of the ninth generation of Intel Core H Series mobile processors in the second half of this year. The range will include the latest Intel Core i9 processor. The company says the new line of high-performance mobile processors will suit "ideal laptops".
The new processors will be based on the old 14-nm Coffee Lake architecture, a spokesman said. These processors will provide excellent performance for creators as well as users who want to run programs that require high computing power, such as photo and video editing software.
Intel has provided us with further clarification on when we will need to see these processors on the market. The company has already announced its intention to launch these processors in the second quarter of this year during its presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2019, held in early January in Las Vegas, United States.
One of the main goals of Intel with the new series is to improve the life of the battery. Its goal is to provide a more consistent experience so that players can enjoy a longer battery life if they do not participate in long gaming sessions, which can not be done according to the power drums.
As Intel announced that the next generation of Intel Core H Series processors will be launched in the second quarter, we should see them before July of this year. Laptops will arrive soon with these new processors.
