The dollar has fallen 12 piastres from the pound sterling since early September to 16.37 pounds for sale and 16.47 pounds for sale at the Central Bank, against 16.49 pounds for the purchase and 16, 62 pounds on sale at the beginning of the month, while investment banks were expecting a further decline.
