President of the Interim Committee of the Egyptian Football Federation, Amr Al-Janaini, confirmed on Saturday that the resignation of Brigadier General Tharwat Sweilem was accepted as Executive Director and entrusted Walid Al-Attar with the responsibility of temporarily leading the works.
"The committee includes a group of members who do not know the failure, so they are determined to succeed and to engage," he said at a press conference Saturday at the Federation.
Amer Hussein, chairman of the federation's competition committee, also resigned from his position today and the final committee will decide on the final position.
