The European qualifiers draw for the World Cup finals, to be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022, took place today, Monday, in Zurich, Switzerland.
Here is the result of the European draw for the 2022 World Cup:
Group A: Portugal – Serbia – Ireland – Luxembourg – Azerbaijan;
Group B (B): Spain – Sweden – Greece – Georgia – Kosovo;
Group three (C): Italy – Switzerland – Northern Ireland – Bulgaria – Lithuania;
Group four (D): France – Ukraine – Finland – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Kazakhstan;
Group E (Belgium – Wales – Czech Republic – Belarus – Estonia);
Group F (F): Denmark – Austria – Scotland – Israel – Faroe Islands – Moldova;
Group G: Netherlands – Turkey – Norway – Montenegro – Latvia – Gibraltar;
Group H: Croatia – Slovakia – Russia – Slovenia – Cyprus – Malta;
Group IX: England – Poland – Hungary – Albania – Andorra – San Marino;
Group ten (J): Germany – Romania – Iceland – North Macedonia – Armenia – Liechtenstein.
Thirteen teams from Europe will qualify for the World Cup final, and the 55 teams from the old continent have been divided into 10 groups according to the draw, and the champions of these groups will advance directly, while 3 teams will qualify through the supplement phase as the best seconds.
The 55 teams were classified into 6 levels, before the draw, as the top five consisted of 10 teams and the last five consisted of 5 teams.
Here are the levels:
Level 1: Belgium, France, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands.
Second level: Switzerland, Wales, Poland, Sweden, Austria, Ukraine, Serbia, Turkey, Slovakia, Romania.
Third level: Russia, Hungary, Ireland, Czech Republic, Norway, Northern Ireland, Iceland, Scotland, Greece, Finland.
Fourth level: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Israel, Belarus, Georgia and Luxembourg.
Fifth level: Armenia, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Andorra.
Sixth level: Malta, Moldavia, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, San Marino.
