The roadmap disclosed today revealed how TCL was considering bringing its own brand to the smartphone market. It will begin with its mid-range smartphone, the TCL T1, which is expected to receive three different models, including two models supporting 5G networks, before launching its foldable smartphone in the summer of 2020.
As usual, this roadmap has been leaked by the famous American piercer Evan Blass, known as "evocative glory," and indicates that the T1 TLC phone will arrive in the fourth quarter of this year, while the phone will arrive at TCL T1 Pro in the first quarter of next year, and to TCL T1 phones. 5G and TCL T1 Pro 5G in the second or third quarter of next year, the same goes for the foldable TCL Flextab phone.
This roadmap also reveals that the TCL T1 will feature a screen with a cutout at the top center of the screen and three cameras at the back, while the TCL T1 Pro will feature a curved AMOLED screen and four cameras at the back. The same goes for TCL T1 5G and TCL T1 Pro 5G, except that it will support 5G networks.
Regarding prices, this leak revealed that the four conventional smartphones would cost consumers 299 euros, 399 euros, 499 euros and 599 euros, while the folding phone TCL Flextab would cost the equivalent of 1299 euros.
Going back to the TCL T1, another leak of evleaks revealed that it would include technical specifications, including a 6.53-inch LCD screen with FullHD + resolution, a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB of internal memory and a battery of 3800 mAh. For the front camera, precisely 24 megapixels and three cameras at the back, 48 megapixels for the main camera and 16 megapixels for the second wide-angle camera and 2 megapixels for the third camera responsible for the depth of the sensor. Apparently, this phone will also be preinstalled with Android 9 Pie and with the company interface.
