The media war between the two largest Saudi networks, Rotana, owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, and MBC, owned by businessman Walid Al-Ibrahim, is part of the government's informal network.

Al-Drees said that Al-Walid Bin Talal had praised Al-Jazeera as a "people's chain" and that he was right at the time , before "the prince does not change his mind".
Al-Drees continued to insult Amr Adib by stating, "The fastest battle you can lose is the one you use to talk about honor, integrity, rhetoric, and attitude. "
It should be noted that the channel "Rotana" has caused the separation between Amr Adib and the chain "MBC", accusing the Egyptian media to try to pace the giants of the Saudi media.
