Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – US businessman Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, said he performed 4 tests for the Corona virus in one day, of which 2 were negative, while the other two were positive.
And Musk wrote, in his Twitter account on Friday, “Something very stupid is going on. I’ve been tested for the Corona virus four times today.”
Musk added, “Two negative tests came, and two positive tests.”
Something extremely wrong is happening. Has been tested for Covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid BD antigen test.
Musk stressed that he was relying on the rapid antigen testing system from Dutch company Bicton Dickinson, which can see results in 15 minutes.
The American businessman said he performed other separate PCR tests, but it will take around 24 hours for the results to appear.
Elon Musk engaged with his followers’ comments on his tweet. While some said inconsistent results did not mean they were wrong or inconsistent, others called their tweet irresponsible.
