Less than a month after the release of the first beta version of Android Q, Google released the second beta release. This new trial version included new features such as bubbles and a sleek smartphone simulator for developers, an emulator compatible with Galaxy Fold screens and Huawei Mate X.
Although Bubbles may look like a repetition of floating chat bubbles from the Facebook Messenger application, they represent an evolution of Quick Smart Toggles in the system bar of the raw Android system. Instead of letting your phone guess the work you need, you can set it up. It can provide quick access to the mobile user interface, such as notes, translations, and visual reminders for tasks.
Google quickly understood where the world of smartphones was going and therefore provided a simulated folding smartphone as the default device in Android Studio. You can preview your apps on a device with a 7.3 "or 8" screen before and after folding.
Other improvements include previewing content when sharing shortcuts via the API, the microphone to use when recording voice in devices with multiple microphones and new generic APIs.
The second beta version of Android Q is available for all Google smartphones, from Google Pixel to Google Pixel 3 XL. The update should soon go on the devices registered in Google's evaluation program, but if you can not wait, you can also download and install manually.
