Sports Observatory: Al-Ittihad club officials have announced their withdrawal from competition to include Brazilian axis Anselmo de Moraes, an Al-Wahda player, due to his heavy financial demands.

Ahmed Kaaki, vice-president of the Al-Ittihad club, confirmed that he refused to sign with the Brazilian Anselmo, due to the important financial offers of his agent.

The Al-Ittihad club had entered into official negotiations to include Anselmo in the ranks of Al-Wahda, to also compete with Al-Nassr and Al-Ahly, who wish to include the Brazilian player.

During the Summer Mercato period, the Union administration signed 3 contracts: playmaker Igor Coronado, defender Abdullah Al-Hafiz and young goalkeeper Osama Al-Marmash.
