The Tunisian Union announces emergency measures to secure the African mission in Sudan to face the crescent

The Tunisian Football Federation's Emergency Committee on Tuesday announced measures to secure the African club's mission in Sudan ahead of its upcoming match against Al Hilal, in response to the wave of shipping sweeping Sudan's media outlets. .

The union said its chairman, Wadih Al-Khair, had chaired the emergency committee meeting following the release of information and statements in the Sudanese media, which could harm the unfolding of the match and the possibility of harming the security of the African mission.

The committee announced measures including the sending of three members and a security coordinator to accompany the African club delegation to Sudan.

In a letter to the African Union, the Tunisian Union also called for creating conditions conducive to securing the African mission and the neutrality of the arbitration team. He also sent a second correspondent to the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take the necessary measures and intervene in what seems appropriate.

The statement also states that the Union "affirms its respect for the Sudanese National Football Federation (SUD) and all the teams involved, as well as for all sports fans and the media in Sudan, calling on all parties to caution in the long historical relationship between the two countries ".
