The world edition of Honor 8X phone begins to receive Android 9 Pie update

Earlier this month, Huawei's subsidiary, Honor, announced that it would release the updated Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 for the Chinese version of the Honor 8X. The company has now launched the same update for the global version of this phone.

Android 9 Pie has updated the 8x Honor 8X's global edition, which improves voice recording, speeds application opening, streamlines the user interface and integrates all the features developed by Google in this version of the Android system. This update is currently available in Macedonia, but we expect that it will be available soon in several parts of the world.

Last week, Honor confirmed the release of the Android 9 Pie update for Honor 8X in India from March 18th, but we did not hear anything later. The company has announced plans to release the update in stages this month. He therefore expects the Indian units will also receive the update in the near future.
