The current situation of the seasonal flu in Morocco is not worrying, after the diffusion of some media platforms and sites of social networks on the recording of the deaths due to the swine flu (H1N1) in Morocco, confirmed the Office of the World Health Organization in Morocco and the Moroccan Ministry of Health.
The two sides said in a joint statement that they were closely following the situation and recommending the usual preventive measures in these cases, pointing out that to date, an extraordinary escalation of seasonal influenza cases in Morocco.
The virus, which is rampant this season in Morocco and around the world, is generally the H1N1 virus, a human virus that has been spreading since 2010 every cold season, the Ministry of Health announced.
Both parties said they would continue to monitor the seasonal flu situation in the country and provide additional guidance if needed.
