Apple’s launch of the new iPhone series is closer than ever, a few weeks away from this event. However, that hasn’t stopped the emergence of leaks and expectations for the upcoming iPhone 14 in 2022.
Of course, the current leaks on the iPhone 14 aren’t quite correct, but they give us a preliminary look at this release right from the start. Experts point out that Apple may not yet have finished developing its plans for “iPhone 14”.
The iPhone 14 should come in four different versions. These versions differ from each other mainly in the size of the screen. While 2022 may see a new version of the “Mini”.
Leaks on the iPhone 14
IPhone 14 phones are coming in 2022 as mentioned earlier, particularly in September, which is the fixed annual date that Apple did not miss until 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new phones will feature Apple’s flagship A16 processor. There is no information on this chip yet, and in fact there is not much information about the A15 chip coming to the iPhone 13 after a few weeks.
And since Apple introduced a 5nm processor last year, which is very high precision, we don’t expect to see more complex beats on small time scales.
Previously, information had been leaked by JP Morgan Chase that the frame used in the iPhone 14 version would be made of titanium and not stainless steel.
In another report, it was revealed that Apple will introduce LTPO OLED displays at a frequency of 120Hz in the iPhone 14. These displays will come from the manufacture of the leading company LG in this field. Perhaps this leak was quite disappointing, as it hinted that the iPhone 13 would not offer this feature.
Famous Apple leaker, Ming-Chi Kuo, shared a leak indicating that the company will also include an under-display fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 14.
4 versions
This phone will be available in four versions as mentioned earlier which are as follows:
• Mini version with 5.4 inch screen
• Standard version with 6.1 inch screen
• Pro version measuring 6.1 inches
• Pro Max version measuring 6.7 inches
It was then that previous leaks suggested that Apple was planning to launch a low-cost “Max” version. It will likely be the same as the regular version, but with a larger screen, without any changes to specs or cameras.
