The late artist Amin Al-Hunaidi is one of Egypt’s most famous comedy stars, who rose to the pinnacle of fame, but his end was tragic.
Amin El-Heneidi was on the throne of comedy stars. He was nicknamed “The Creator of Joy”. Amin El-Heneidi was born on October 1, 1921 in Mansourah, in an average family. His artistic talent appeared when he was young, as he excelled in imitating and singing the monologues of Ismail Yassin and Soraya Helmy, and with the family moving to Cairo, he studied at Shubra School and joined the team of actors from the school.
He performed a play at the Rihani Theater in 1939, then joined the Faculty of Arts and participated with the acting team of the faculty, but he moved to the Faculty of Law, then left it and joined the Higher Institute of Physical Education of Alexandria, graduated from there in 1949 and appointed professor of physical education at Nuqrashi Secondary School, and was included in the post until he became general manager of sports activities at the Ministry of Education.
According to Al-Ahram newspaper, after graduation, he went to Sudan for a professional mission and met artist Mohamed Ahmed Al-Masry (Abu Lamaa) there, and they formed a troop of theater at the Egyptian Club of Sudan in 1954. He returned to Cairo in 1955, and his meeting was with the artist Abdel Moneim Madbouly, who offered him to participate in the program “” One hour for your heart “in the role of Fahlawi, who is the beginning of her debut, joins Tahia Carioca’s troupe, and artistic works roll over her.
He formed a theater company bearing his name in 1970 AD, and disbanded it in 1978, and quit theatrical work for three years, then returned. His first films in theaters were Couples and Summer in 1961 AD, and his distinguished films numbered around 40 films, including “Gharam fi Karnak, Hamza’s Bag, Al-Shark, and others”. play “Forbidden Ya Karawan”.
He has been successful in radio and has over ten radio works, including: “An Hour for Your Heart He Came Out and Did Not Return, Shalt al-Ans”, and a few television series such as (and directs Shahryar Al -Sabah, Muhammad is the Messenger of God and others).
During his artistic career he received a second class medal in recognition of his artistic efforts at the Youth Festival in 1966. He married in 1969 and had three sons, “Saleh, Abdel Hamid, Mahmoud. “
He had stomach cancer
He was obsessed with death and saw many doctors who found no disease. he had stomach cancer in 1982, so he missed his artwork and racked up debt, and he became depressed.
He traveled to London for treatment at state expense and performed lung and oral surgery, but it did not relieve his pain, so he returned to Cairo after the disease spread to his body and he remained in intensive care in a hospital, and he did not pay for the treatment and died on July 3, 1986 after four years of conflict with the disease after Hours after finishing the shooting of his last film, The Train.
The family could not obtain her body because they did not have 2,000 pounds for the treatment fee, until her colleagues collected the amount, and her body was released and the burial was authorized. .
