A Tunisian source for Al-Shorouq: We want to put the Libyan issue on the summit table, next to the numbers of Golan and Jerusalem
The summit will be held Thursday in Tunis with the participation of a dozen leaders. Tunisian President Al-Sibsi will assume the presidency of the summit of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The summit will discuss the evolution of the Syrian-Yemeni and Libyan crisis, solidarity with Lebanon, support to the Somali Republic and other issues.
A Tunisian source told Asharq Al-Awsat that alongside the priority of discussing the problems of the Golan Heights and Jerusalem, Tunisia would make the issue of Libya one of the priorities of the topics to be addressed at the summit, especially after the UN road map to end the chaos.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich, who is touring after the summit, will also attend the summit, including in Egypt and Jordan.
On the sidelines of the summit, Guitrich will attend the meeting of the Libya Quartet, which includes the United Nations, the League of Arab States, the African Union and the European Union, as well as his special envoy, Ghassan Salama .
During his stay in Cairo, the UN Secretary General is to meet with the great Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed al-Tayeb, to express his solidarity with Muslims against Islamophobia and all forms of hatred and intolerance.
Al-Shorouq learned that Arab leaders will issue the Tunis Declaration at the end of their meeting, saying that the US declaration of recognition of Israel's sovereignty over the Syrian Golan Heights is considered null and void. and reflects a situation of violation of international law.
The leaders also asserted the illegality and illegality of the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, pointing out that East Jerusalem was the capital of Palestine. The statement will also call for the launch of serious and effective peace negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian governments, which will put an end to the political failure of the problem because of Israel's uncompromising stance.
The Tunis Declaration also highlights the rejection of Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Arab states, condemnation of aggression attempts aimed at destabilizing the country and incitement to sectarian and sectarian violence in Arab countries, including the support and arming of terrorist militias in a number of Arab countries. The statement calls on Iran to withdraw its militia and armed elements from all Arab countries.
Arab leaders will also insist on the need to find a political solution to end the Syrian crisis, in order to realize the aspirations of the Syrian people, preserve the unity of Syria, protect its sovereignty and independence, and to put an end to all outside forces and all sectarian terrorist groups.
The Tunis Declaration will underline the importance of supporting the Libyan legal institutions and the Quartet dialogue organized by the League of Arab States with the participation of the European Union, the African Union and the United Nations.
