Today's fried foods cause women to die prematurely

An American study suggests that women who eat fried chicken every day are at 13% more premature deaths than others.

The study concluded that fried fish is not much better for health because the chances are increased by 7% per day.

"Consuming fried foods increases the total number of calories and therefore, obesity is associated with a higher risk of death," said Wei Bao, senior researcher at the University of Iowa.

"In our study, we took into account the total number of calories consumed, lifestyle and level of obesity … After excluding the effects of these factors, there was a correlation between fried foods and death in general, as well as deaths from cardiovascular disease. "

In the BMG Journal of Medicine, Bao and his colleagues reported that in North America, up to one in three adults consume fast-food fries generally.

To conduct this study, researchers examined food questionnaires from approximately 107,000 women aged 50 to 79 who participated in the Women's Health Initiative study between 1993 and 2017.

The researchers concluded that regular consumption of fried foods was associated with a higher risk of all-cause death and heart problems, but there was no apparent link to cancer death.
