ABU DHABI: Gareth Bell scored a hat trick to lead Real Madrid to a 3-1 win over Japan's Kashima Antlers and book a ticket to the FIFA Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi.

The European champions will meet United Arab Emirates hosts Al Ain in the final on Saturday, hoping to win their third consecutive title in the competition.

The Asian champions seemed to have a perfect start after a dangerous opportunity for Serginho, who shot close but goalkeeper Tibu Cortua blocked the attempt.

Bell opened the scoring in the 44th minute with a left foot shot after an exchange with Marcelo.

He added the second goal in the 53rd minute, using confusion in Japan's defense to pay the empty goal, then completed the Welsh trio after two minutes with a perfect shot.

Kashima scored a goal that saved the face against Shuma Doi.
