Trump said, according to "Reuters": "I do not want to in any way handle or manage a case or business with" Huawei "for reasons of national security."

He explained that some parts of the work of "Huawei" may be exempted from a wider ban, without indicating whether his administration will extend the temporary license granted to Chinese society.

According to media reports, the US administration is planning to extend for 90 days the provisional general license of the Chinese company in order to buy components to US companies.

Washington has listed "Huawei" on its blacklist last May, banning the sale of US technology to the Chinese company without the prior authorization of the US Department of Commerce, where Washington accuses "Huawei" of espionage.
