Former US President Donald Trump is no longer rich enough to be included in Forbes magazine’s list of the 400 richest Americans.
Trump’s fortune is currently estimated at $ 2.5 billion, down $ 400 million from the limit set for this year’s list, the magazine said on Tuesday.
Last year, Trump placed 339th in the rankings, but Forbes said he hasn’t caught up with any of the top 400 this year as his fortune has fallen by $ 600 million since the start of the pandemic.
According to Forbes, tech stocks, cryptocurrencies and other assets have exploded in the Corona era.
But ownership in the big cities, which constitute the bulk of Trump’s fortune, has shrunk, removing the former president from the country’s most exclusive club, the magazine wrote.
Trump has been on the list every year since 1996, starting with his 368th. From 1997 to 2016, the year he was elected, he found himself in the top half of the list.
However, its decline began in 2016, and since then Trump has steadily deteriorated in the rankings, before disappearing from the list altogether now.
