NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – The drugs that President Donald Trump takes daily to preserve his hair have other health benefits, according to a recent medical study.
The study, developed in 20 years, found that Trump's resistance to baldness reduces the risk of prostate cancer, the Daily Mail reported.
Finasteride is widely used to treat baldness in men in the United Kingdom and the United States.
The new study suggests that cereals may also be the first drug to protect against prostate cancer, just as statins are used to prevent heart attacks.
Dr. Ian Thompson, co-author of the study, has followed nearly 19,000 men since 1997 and concluded that "finasteride" is safe, inexpensive and effective as a prostate cancer prevention strategy. .
