The city of science reported in its Sunday, January 6, 2019 that the first partial phases of the total lunar eclipse started at 4.33 minutes at dawn and could be seen in the dark sky
Eclipses peak at dawn at 6:12 and end at 8:48.
The Tunisian Science City, in cooperation with the Tunisian Society of Astronomy, will organize Sunday, January 20 an astronomical event entitled "Pending the eclipse" and an astronomical joy to follow the event day after day in the night of Sunday 20 to Monday 21 January.
The Sunday, January 20 program will include workshops that will be held from 9am to 2pm and will address the phenomenon of the eclipse, as well as visits to the Science City space.
The total lunar eclipse of 21 January also affects Asia, Australia, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Pacific: the eclipse of the Earth is about 1.19 and the eclipse lasts about 6 hours 12 minutes.
