The United Arab Emirates sent a letter to the UN Security Council against Turkish initiatives in the region.
In their letter, the UAE stressed that Turkey was threatening to use migrants to pursue its paranoid goals, adding that Ankara was pursuing an “aggressive” foreign policy.
The letter recalled that Turkey is “a point of arrival and transit for ISIS fighters in Afghanistan and Central Asia”, adding that “Turkey is seeking to sow chaos in the Arab world”.

Abu Dhabi stressed that Turkey “ignored multilateral action” and violated Security Council resolutions, referring in this context to Turkey’s attack in Syria, which constitutes a violation of international law.
On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates is working to “strengthen security and peace”, as it underlined in its letter to the Security Council, which came in response to the allegations of the Turkish representative to the United Nations. .
In this context, the UAE accused Turkey of trying to “distract from its dangerous behavior”.
