The value of Turkey's exports to Arab countries amounted to $ 30.8 billion last year, according to Abdul Rahman Kan, president of the Association of Businessmen. and independent Turkish industrialists (Musiad).
This happened during a speech at a working breakfast in Istanbul titled "Working Breakfast with Arab Journalists", which was attended by members of Moyad and reporters Arabs working in Turkey.
Turkey has emphasized mutual interests in its economic relations with the Arab world, he said, adding that the volume of trade between the two parties has increased remarkably in the last ten years. years.
The volume of Turkish investment in the Arab world reached $ 2 billion between 2002 and 2018. The value of Arab investment in Turkey during the same period was $ 12 billion.
In this regard, the Association has 13 branches in the following countries: Saudi Arabia, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Algeria and Jordan, Kuwait, Kuwait, Oman, Libya and Syria.
He revealed his association's plan to organize the "Turkish Arab Trade Summit" in coordination with the International Trade Forum next April in Istanbul.
"In organizing the summit, we aim to inform the Arab businessmen of the rules of financial law in Turkey."
