Turki Al – Sheikh announces the continuation of the presidency of the Arab Football Federation

Announcement of the launch of preparations for the launch of the second edition of the Arab Cup

Turki Al-Sheikh has agreed to continue to hold the position of President of the Arab Football Federation and has announced that he will remain until the end of his term.

This occurred at a meeting held in Riyadh on Sunday by the Executive Committee of the Arab Football Federation, where Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh, President of the Arab Football Federation, Chairman of the Executive Committee , welcomed all members of the Committee in his second country, Saudi Arabia.

The meeting also called on all members of the committee to chair the Arab Union and the Chairman of the Executive Committee to continue in his position, which Turki Al-Sheikh responded to the request of the members of the Committee and announced that he would remain until the end of his term.

The President of the Arab Union announced the start of special arrangements for the preparation of the second edition of the Arab Club Cup, the launch of sports development in several Arab countries and also announced its support to associations to overcome any difficulties.

Annual rewards were passed for the best league, the best player, the best coach and the top scorer, in the final Zayed Champion Clubs Cup game on April 18 in Al Ain.

At the meeting, members of the Executive Committee were briefed on the Federation's administrative and technical program reports, as well as the Zayed Cup for the existing championships, while the Secretary-General of the Arab Football Federation, Mr. Rajaallah Al-Salami, presented a detailed report on the future programs and competitions of the Federation.
