Turkish media today reported that large amounts of gold have been discovered in the country.

Today, Tuesday, Turkish news agency “Anatolia” reported in a tweet on “Twitter” that quantities of gold have been discovered in Turkey, valued at $ 6 billion at the current price.

According to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet, the general manager of cooperation for agricultural credit in Turkey and chairman of the board of directors of “Kroptis” announced the discovery of a huge gold resource of about 3.5 million ounces.

According to Fakhreddin Bouiraz, head of the company “gubretas”, the discovered gold mine is ready to be exploited immediately.

The discovery comes at a time when the world is witnessing an increase in demand for the precious metal, which is a safe haven, in light of the emerging Corona virus crisis, which has hit the global economy.
