Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Admittedly, it has been decades now that Umm Kulthum's artistic legacy has been preserved throughout the Arab world. Now, his legacy is also reflected in the voice of his granddaughter, Sana Nabil, who surprised the jury in the latest episode of Arabs Got Talent!
Sanaa Nabil stood silently in the middle of the "Arabs Got Talent" theater before beginning to sing. One of the leaders, Mohamed Helmi, asked her if she had been inspired by a member of her family to enter the field of singing.
The jury and audience were surprised when Nabil responded that the East planet and legend Umm Kulthum had inspired it. "My grandmother's sister is famous and calls herself Umm Kulthum," she said.
After discussing her expectations of the audience, the young Egyptian woman interpreted the judges' panel with her powerful voice in her grandmother's late song, "I'm Feeling My Heart".
The audience was surprised by the warm applause that followed its singing, as well as by the smiles of the leaders.
After hearing a noble voice, one of the leaders, Ali Jaber, said, "We have the honor to receive the granddaughter of Umm Kulthum."
Nabil's talent was discovered when she was only nine years old and her father was talented since childhood, according to the portal of the Egyptian government Al-Ahram.
The site also states that he was supported early in his career by Dr. Ahmed Abdullah and musician Salim Sahab.
This is not the first time that Nabil has been singing on stage: in January of this year, she participated in the Tantoura Winter Festival in Saudi Arabia, where the late Umm Kulthum returned to the theater according to the technique of "l & # 39; ; hologram ".
