The General Directorate of Medical Services of the Armed Forces has devoted all its health, preventive and human resources to the service of the pilgrims, in accordance with the directives given by His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and by His Royal Highness Khalid Bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense. The necessary health care so that pilgrims can meet all the requirements to facilitate the means to fulfill this task and work to develop the service provided to pilgrims on an ongoing basis.
The Director General of the Medical Services Branch of the Armed Forces, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Amri, said medical services had increased their presence, both at the level of medical cadres and qualified health personnel and medical equipment. in fixed and field hospitals, health centers located in stress and heat treatment centers and in dialysis centers. With a capacity of over (700) beds in addition to the presence of air medical evacuation aircraft belonging to the medical services of the vertical and jet armed forces, who work 24 hours a day to transport those who need health support at hospitals in Jeddah and Taif to provide medical care that contributes to the realization of the health service system for the pilgrimage season.
