Moroccans are among the most Arab countries to stay and own US citizenship in 2018, according to statistics from the US Department of Citizenship and Immigration, published on its official website.

The report ranks Moroccans as the leading Arab Maghreb country, where they reached 2,223 beneficiaries, a significant difference from Algerians, who did not exceed 1466, followed by Tunisians with 379.

Mexicans are among the most nationalized citizens in the world (95,107), followed by Indians (34,431), Chinese (28,547), Filipinos (27,893) and Cubans (22,341). .

The report includes two sections of permanent residents, the first to settle and the second to newcomers.

Thanks to the lottery, many Moroccans emigrate to the country of Uncle Sam. To obtain the "green card", about 100,000 Moroccans are named each year for the green card. The US Consulate in Casablanca awards 900 to 1,000 "Visa" winners each year to this lottery.
