Uzbekistan "Cooper" sweeps Turkmenistan and qualifies for the knockout stages of the Asian Cup

Uzbekistan defeated Turkmenistan 4-0 at the end of the second round of the first round of the Asian Cup, guaranteeing their quick qualification for the finals.

The Uzbek side, led by Hector Cooper, the former Egyptian coach, scored his fourth goal in the first half and settled at the start of the second match after winning the first round against Oman 2-0.

Sadekov Juffujir scored the first goal in the 17th minute and Eldor Shomorodov took advantage in the 24th minute and Jalaluddin Masharibov scored the third goal in the 40th minute, before Schumorodov finished the quarter in the 42nd minute.

The result is that Uzbekistan are in group six with six points, ahead of Japan who also qualified for the second round. The third round will be decided by both teams, while Oman and Turkmenistan will be third and fourth, respectively.
