MADRID (Reuters) – Liverpool club Sadeo Mani continued to beat their rivals this season after their first win for Fulham in the 31st week of the Premier League.
The goal came in the 26th minute to meet Sadio Mani's shot in Fulham's net after a double pass with Brazil's Roberto Fermino in the box.
Mani was promoted to Premier League striker with 17 goals, tied with team mate Mohamed Salah, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and Arsenal striker Pierre Emeric Obamyang.
The 26-year-old has just scored the number of goals he scored last season in all competitions after scoring his 20th goal in 38 games this season (2018-19).
The Senegalese star became the second African player in Liverpool history to reach 40 goals as Prime Minister, after Mohamed Salah, who scored 49 goals in Riddles' jersey in the prestigious competition.
Mani broke his compatriot Demba Ba, who scored 16 goals for Newcastle United in the 2011-12 season, becoming the most Senegalese player in the Premier League.
Mani has not stopped scoring: he has scored 11 goals in the last 11 games of all tournaments and 9 goals in the last nine league games, only scoring against Manchester United and Everton.
Sergio Aguirre of Manchester City is the top scorer in the Premier League with 18 goals in 26 appearances.
