Famous sports journalist specializing in football transfers, Fabrizio Romano, has confirmed that Argentinian Lionel Messi arrived at Barcelona airport before heading to Paris for his integration at Saint-Germain.

Romano, who works as a journalist for the “Sky Sports” network, posted a video on his Twitter account and attached it to him saying: “Lionel Messi is here at Barcelona airport with his family. He will be in Paris this afternoon. ”

For her part, Antonella Roccuzzo, the wife of Messi, via the report “Al-Astori” on her account on “Instagram”, published a photo of her with Messi on the plane, and attached it to her saying: “The five of us will leave for a new adventure”, referring to her and Messi, accompanied by their three children.

Messi is expected to arrive in Paris in a few hours to sign a two-season contract, with the option of extending an additional season, for € 40million per season.

Barcelona officially announced Messi’s departure from the squad last Thursday, after his contract was not renewed due to restrictions in “La Liga” regulations regarding salaries.

The former Barcelona star will be the Parisian giant’s fifth contract this summer, having signed Achraf Hakimi, Sergio Ramos, Georgino Wijnaldum and Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
