During the Hajj 1440H season, the Ministry of Health used a fleet of small ambulances to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and the timely arrival of medical cases to provide them with the necessary assistance.
One of the nurses explained in a video published by the Department of Health that small ambulances are fully equipped with a mobile intensive care unit and that each unit has a doctor and a medical assistant to treat cases.
Another nurse said that it contained all the material needed to save the lives of patients, pointing out that it had been designed so small to facilitate travel between pilgrims during the pilgrimage seasons.
