Zamalek defeated Al Ittihad of Alexandria 3-1 in a match played during the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek striker Omar Al-Saeed scored in the 32nd minute, Mahmoud Karka scored in the 45th minute and Mahmoud Alaa scored in the 95th minute.
Zamalek goalkeeper Mahmoud Jensh was banned from the match and league players including goalkeeper Hani Suleiman and Mahmoud Rizk.
Zamalek, who has lost 41 points in the Premier League, is now in second place.
