Real Madrid, who have already qualified for the last 16 games, will face a surprise 3-0 loss to CSKA Moscow at the end of Group G of the Champions League on Wednesday.
Despite the victory, the Russian team was dismissed and could not qualify for the European Championships after defeating Victoria Plzen in third place with a 2-1 win over Roma.
Vedder Chalov CSKA beat the European champions of the last three seasons with a surprise shot in the 37th minute and Georgi Sheenikov doubled the lead of the match two minutes before the break with a direct shot.
Icelandic Arnor Segordson added the third goal with a low shot in the 73rd minute to allow CSKA to beat Real in this group after a 1-0 win in Moscow in October.
CSKA have won only two victories this season against the European champions 13 times, but they are leading the standings with seven points in a row with Plzen.
