Volkswagen is preparing to launch new modified Atlas cars which are sold in some Asian countries under the name Teramont.

According to the leaks, Volkswagen intends to launch custom copies of these cars in the Chinese market and some Asian markets, and those copies will differ in exterior design from the Atlas cars launched last year.

The most significant change these cars will get is that they will be fitted with larger headlights than current Atlas cars, and the radiator grille will change slightly to become more prominent thanks to the shiny chrome layers that will cover almost all of its parts, and the rear facade of these vehicles will get a line A wide red lighting that spans almost the entire width, and below it extends a raised chrome frame.

This car will also change the design of the front air vents, and its wheels will be 21 inches instead of 17, as is the case in current Atlas models.

This vehicle is supposed to offer two types of engines, an economical two-liter engine and a torque of 186 horsepower, and a turbocharged six-cylinder EA390 engine, with a capacity of 2.5 liters, and generates torque equivalent to 299 horsepower.
