A recent Wall Street Journal report revealed that Apple was considering replacing LCD screens on iPhone phones to increasingly use OLEDs in all upcoming releases in 2020.

According to the publication of the GSM website, Apple is expected to offer the latest versions of the distinctive LCD screens of the iPhone this year in 2019, with the launch of the major iPhone versions of the OLED screens in 2020.

OLEDs should offer a more flexible design for iPhone versions. Apple should rethink the design of iPhone phones, which will reach 2020, with the expectation of the first version of smart phones that can also be deployed in 2020.

Apple has struggled to develop an LCD on liquid XR Retina iPhones. This type of screen requires a backlight requiring an extension of the LCD screen of the phone to the edges.

The use of LCD screens in the next version of Apple's XR this year has been mentioned, but Apple supports this version with a dual camera offering faster connection to LTE networks.
