Experts from the security company "ESET" have warned against the new application "AndroidOptimization" that penetrates the data of the phone and helps to steal money from users through them.
According to "Russia Today", experts have shown that the purpose of the application according to its designers is to speed up the performance of phones and devices running with "Android" systems. However, it turns out that hackers use the app to hack phones and download malware to steal money from electronic accounts.
Once the application loaded into the phone, a Trojan virus, which contains it mainly, begins to access various programs of the device, including PayPal, used for electronic payment. Once hacked, the virus transfers money from bank cards programmed in this program to hacker accounts.
The risk of viruses is not limited to PayPal, it can access data Gmail, Viber, Skype, WhatsApp and Google Play.
