Portugal striker Nelson Oliveira was seriously injured during his meeting with Aston Villa in the 30th round of the English Premiership on Saturday.
The Aston Villa striker, Tyrone Menges, hit Olivera in the face and the Portuguese were rushed to the hospital.
"I'm sorry Oliver, I hope you're fine," Tyron apologized to Nelson, via a tweet posted on his Twitter account after the match.
Aged 27, he has played for French clubs Rennes, Benfica and Deportivo and has been playing in England since 2015. He also defended the Portugal team between 2012 and 2017.
