Watch for a "sign of life" on the red planet

Scientists have discovered the possibility of life on Mars after detecting the presence of methane on its surface for the second time independently, found in a research article published in the journal Nature Giants.

Data gathered by the European Space Agency's Mars Express mission detected the presence of methane only a day after being detected by the Cryosti probe, scientists said. And watching gas for the first time on the surface of the red planet more than a decade ago, according to the British newspaper "The Independent", is a key sign of the existence of life.
