Colombian goaltender David Ospina was seriously injured during the 4-2 match against Udinese on Sunday during the 28th day of the Italian league.
Ospina, 30, was injured in the 10th minute after being made to have the attack by Udinese Ignacio Poseto. He was cured off the court and came back to defend the goal with a bandage around his head. But collapsed into the penalty box in the 41st minute, rushed to the paramedics and tried to prevent him from swallowing his tongue, before being transferred in the hospital.
In a statement posted on his official Twitter account, Napoli said Ospina had left the hospital this afternoon. Tests and radiation showed that he was not suffering from any serious injuries.
