We reject Iran's interference in the affairs of the Arab States

Arab leaders have expressed their rejection of Iran's interference in the affairs of the Arab countries in the final communiqué of their summit in Tunis Sunday night.

They stressed in the final communiqué of the Arab summit held in Tunis the concern for the unity of Libya, renewing their rejection of military solutions and stressing the need to accelerate the political settlement.

The summit emphasized that the achievement of security and peace in the region was based on a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue, and renewed the commitment to provide financial support to the State of Palestine and the financial safety net.

The Arab summit called on the international community and the Security Council to shoulder their responsibilities by providing the necessary protection to the Palestinian people and ending Israel's violations of Islamic and Christian holy places.

And warned against Israeli plans to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque and change its historical situation, he called on the world not to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and not to transfer his embassies to him.

Regarding the Libyan crisis, the final declaration of the Arab Summit affirmed unity and released our resolution to reject military solutions and called for speeding up the political settlement, underlining support for the action plan presented by the United Nations envoy to Libya.

With regard to the Yemeni crisis, the Arab Summit's final declaration affirmed the support of regional and international efforts to restore Yemen's legitimacy and emphasized the rejection and condemnation of ballistic missile fire on Saudi territory.

On the issue of the fight against terrorism, the statement called for the activation of the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism and Legal Action to criminalize extremist and takfiri thinking.

The final declaration of the Arab summit in Tunis also called for the removal of Sudan's name from the US list of states sponsoring terrorism and welcomed the holding of the first Arab-European summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, in Egypt.

The Arab Summit also welcomed the initiative of the United Arab Emirates to establish the Arab Group for Space Cooperation and appreciated its role in the development of Arab cooperation in the field of space science.
