With regard to the Yemeni crisis, the Arab Summit's final declaration affirmed the support of regional and international efforts to restore Yemen's legitimacy and emphasized the rejection and condemnation of ballistic missile fire on Saudi territory.
On the issue of the fight against terrorism, the statement called for the activation of the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism and Legal Action to criminalize extremist and takfiri thinking.
The final declaration of the Arab summit in Tunis also called for the removal of Sudan's name from the US list of states sponsoring terrorism and welcomed the holding of the first Arab-European summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, in Egypt.
The Arab Summit also welcomed the initiative of the United Arab Emirates to establish the Arab Group for Space Cooperation and appreciated its role in the development of Arab cooperation in the field of space science.
