Yemeni Army Chief of Staff and Joint Operations Commander Lt. Gen. Saghir bin Aziz announced on Sunday that “the armed forces will surprise the Houthi militias with severe blows from which they will not recover.” .

He said the battle is moving forward by assigning the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which suffers heavy loss of life and equipment, according to the Yemeni army newspaper.

He also stressed that “victory will be very soon”, noting that “our project is a project of life in exchange for the project of death and destruction, which the Iranian Houthi militias are adopting.”

He also praised the Coalition’s support to uphold the legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the national army in its battle against the Houthi terrorist militia.

It should be noted that the fronts on the outskirts of Shabwa and Marib governorates witness heavy fighting between the Yemeni armed forces and the Houthis, amid the continued attempts by militias for months to control Marib.

On Sunday, the Yemeni military’s media center published part of the clashes between the armed forces and Houthi militias on the Harib front, south of Marib.

And on Saturday, the Yemeni army announced the murder and injury of dozens of Houthi militias in southern Marib governorate.

The army is also engaged in continued fighting against the Houthis on various fronts south of Marib, amid massive loss of life and property among the militias, according to the army media center.
