Western Digital Launches Wireless Charger for Android and iOS

Western Digital has announced the launch of its new SanDisk iXpand wireless charger.

The US company is promoting the new charger as the first device to wirelessly charge compatible smartphones, equipped with the Android Google or Apple "iOS" system, with the automatic backup of photos and videos in one step.

When using the new SanDisk iXpand, simply place the Qi compatible smartphone on the wireless charger, where iPhone or Android phones are automatically responsible for backing up photos, videos, and contacts.

The new SanDisk iXpand wireless charger includes 128 or 256 GB of memory. The loader creates multiple profiles for backups, so the use of the new wireless charger can be shared among family members.

The charger comes with a power supply of 180 cm length and allows fast wireless charging up to 10W.

The new Western Digital wireless charger is designed to detect foreign objects and avoid overloads. It also offers a compatible charging function to charge smart phones with a protective casing with a maximum thickness of 3 mm.
